Global Warming Awareness Program

30th March 2007,Tri Chandra College

RC Pashupati-Ktm jointly with RC Bodrum,R.I. District-2440 organize Global Warming Awareness Program by printing the Pamphlet & Flex send by them to us which we distribute to different college & also fix the pamphlet in wall of different college & handed over the flex to Deepak Karki,HOD,Environment Science Department of Tri Chandra Campus.

Blood Donation Programme

30th March 2007,Bishwa Bhasa Campus

For 39th Rotaract Week Celebration,RC. Pashupati-Ktm jointly with RC Budhanilkantha,RC Dillibazar,RC Kathmandu & Bishwa Bhasa Campus Youth Red Cross Circle organize Blood Donation Programme from 08:30 A.M. till 12:00 noon where 97 Donors donated blood which was handed over to Nepal Red Cross. Certificate Distribution was done on spot to the Donor.

Candle Light Program

19th March 2007,Maitighar Mandala

As per joint meeting ,RC Pashupati-Ktm jointly with RC Budhanilkantha,RC Dillibazar & RC Kathmandu organize candle light program at Maitighar Mandala at 06:00 P.M for 39th Rotaract Week Celebration where 2007 lights were lighted. There were participation of 60 Rotaractors from different club in which 30 members participated from our club.

Joint Meeting

17th March 2007,Bishwa Bhasa Campus

For 39th Rotaract Week Celebration,RC Pashupati-Ktm organize the joint meeting between RC Budhanilkantha,RC Dillibazar & RC Kathmandu at Bishwa Bhasa Campus. The meeting proposed to celebrate Rotaract Week by organizing Candle Light Program & Blood Donation Program. There were participation of 35 Rotaractors of different club in which 20 members participated from our club.

Radio Jockey Training

25th Feb - 14th March 2007,Bishwa Bhasa Campus

For the professional development of Rotaractors,RC Pashupati-Ktm jointly with RC Kathmandu organize 15 days RJ Training program at Bishwa Bhasa Campus from 25th Feb to 14th March .There were 28 participant in this program. The trainer for this program were Rishi Lamsal(Gorkha F.M.),Rajesh Khadka(Madhurima Kala Kendra Nepal),……………….
Certificate Distribution of this program was done on 17th March by Chief Guest Honorable Law Minister Ramesh Lekhak in the presence of District Committee members at Bishwa Bhasa Campus.

Shivaratri Festival

16th February 2007,Pashupati

Shivaratri celebrated as birth day of Lord Shiva across the country where people from Nepal as well as India visit Pashupatinath temple. Nearly around 200 thousand pilgrimage visited Pashupatinath Temple on this day.Rotaract Club of Pashupati-Ktm along with RC Budhanilkantha,RC Dillibazar,RC Kathmandu & RC Thamel volunteered from 8 P.M. evening of 15th Jan to 8 P.M. evening of 16th Jan.Rtr. Hem Mahat & Rtr. U.P. Lamichanne was appointed as co-ordinator for this program. There were participation of ….. Rotaractors in which 40 members were from our club.We also organized health camp jointly with …..Polyclinic in Pashupati on this day which includes distribution of various medicines.Rtr. Dev Kumar Shrestha was appointed as co-ordinator for this program.

Stupid Cupid Contest

14th February,2007

Rotaract Club of Alex Sanstefano,R.I. District-2450,Egypt and Rotaract Club of Bombay Hills South,R.I. District-3140,India have jointly organized an International Love letter Writing Competition named “Stupid Cupid” among Rotaractors all over the world. Top 5 love letter were selected as the best among which Love Letter written by our member Rtr. Manik Dhungana was also selected among Top 5 love Letter.

Mini District Conference

27th January 2007,Chitwan

The 2nd Mini District Conference was hosted by Rotaract Club Of Chitwan on 27th -28th January 2007.Rtr. U.P. Lamichanne,Past President of our club was first discussed as DRRE for Rota Year 2008/09 but after a long discussion he leave the post for DRRE and ready to work as ADRR for Rota Year 2008/09 of whole Rotaract Clubs of Nepal with new District,R.I. District-3292.Really we are proud that our PP has been selected for ADRR & also wish him for his successful tenure. Our 4 member participated in this program.

Donation of Food & Oil

Our club along with our parent club handed over Food & Oil materials to “Yuwa Kriyalap Utthan Kendra”,Chabahil which is also our SAP Area.

Meeting with Rotaract Club of Thane, Central

6th January 2007,Mumbai

Our members Rtr. Manik Dhungana & Rtr. Rajya Deep Dhungana attended the meeting of Rotaract Club Of Thane Central,R.I. District-3140,Mumbai & they also had a flag exchange programme with that club. On the same day they also meet DRR Sumeet Mehta of R.I. District-3140 along with other District member. Rotaract Club in Mumbai were really active comparing to other city of India.

Documentary Making Workshop

For the personal development of rotaractors, RC Pashupati-Ktm jointly with RC Kathmandu organize one day workshop “Learning To Shoot” at Rotary Hall,Thapathali. … rotaractors from different Rotaract Club participated in this program. This program was presented by Documentary Maker as well as Director,Mr. Grady Walker.

IDYEP

IDYEP Fellowship Dinner program was jointly organized by seven different Rotaract clubs i.e. RC Pashupati, RC Kathmandu, RC Rudramati. RC Dillibazar, RC Thamel, RC Kathmandu Mid Town & RC Rajdhani. at Rotary hall Thapathali on 18th December for IDYEP team of district 3140. Our club secretary Rtr. Narayan Kharel presented the different projects that were done by our clubs.

Workshop on “Sharing Value With Youth”

One day program regarding leadership for successful vision of life and earning for best outfits was held on rotatory hall at Thapathali on the topic of “Sharing Value with youth”. On that events different page 3 personalities were present to highlight the program and various workshops were done with the involvement of rotaractors. the program was jointly organized by R.C. Pashupati, R.C. Kathmandu, R.C. Dilli bazaar and R.C. Budhanilkantha on 18th Nov.

Tea Party

On the occasion of Tihar festival our club organize Tea Party on the day of Laxmi Puja at New Summit College,Old Baneshwor for sharing best wishes of Tihar among Rotaractors.There were participation of …. Rotaractors from different Rotaract Club.

Guheswori Temple Sanitary Program

23rd September 2006,Guheshwori Temple

On the occasion of Dashain feeling the needs that the main pilgrimage spot for Nauratha must be clean Our club jointly with RC Dillibazar & RC Kathmandu organize Guheshwori Temple sanitary programme on the day of Ghatasthapana.Rtr. Nirmal Tripathee was appointed as co-ordinator for this program.There were altogether 32 Rotaractors participation in which 19 members participated from our club in this program.

Tree Plantation

23rd September 2006,Singha Durbar Police Station

Rotaract Club of Pashupati-Ktm along with parent club planted around 60 plant for city beautification from morning 07:30 A.M. till 09:00 A.M in the Hill of Singha Durbar Police Station in Anamnagar where 15 members were present. Rtn. Khadgajeet Baral was the co-ordinator for this program.

First Multi Country RYLA

8th -10th September 2006,Kolkata

Rtr. Rajya Deep Dhungana of our club participated in First Multi Country RYLA held in Prakash Bhawan,Salt Lake City,Kolkata .There were participation of 60 rotaractors from Bangladesh,India & Nepal among them 20 rotaractor were from Nepal.DRRE Anil Shrestha was the team leader for Nepalese Rotaractors.

Teej Festival

26th August 2006,Pashupatinath Temple

Teej Festival, the biggest festival for Hindu Ladies where ladies keep fast for long health of their Husband as well as welfare of their family in which nearly around 100 thousand pilgrims visit Pashupatinath Temple.
It is proud for Rotaract Clubs of Nepal that Rotaract Club of Pahupati-Ktm is also a member of “Main Organizing Committee of Pahupati”.Other Rotaract Clubs of Zone 4 also supported us in this program form 04:00 A.M. morning to 07:00 P.M. in evening. Rtr. Hem Mahat was appointed as coordinator for this program.35 rotaractors from our club have actively volunteered in this program.

Club Works For 2006-2007

7th Installation Ceromony
22nd July 2006,New Summit College

Rotaract Club of Pashupati-Ktm has celebrated it’s 7th installation Ceromony at New Summit College,Old Baneshwor.This program was conducted in the chairmanship of Rotarian of our parent club & ADRR Uraj Nakarmi,DRRE Anil Shrestha,Past ADRR Avash Piya,ADLT Dipendra Shakya were also present in this program.New Board member for Rota Year 2006/07 under the president ship of Rtr. Madan Raj Poudel were also inducted after handing over president ship from Rtr. Nirmal Tripathee.Yearly scholarship program sponsored by our club was handed over by our RCC Rtn. Jessika Chemjong to .Past ADRR Avash Piya was given Token Of Love by Rtn. Sher Bdr. Pandey for his continuous effort in development of Rotaract Clubs in Nepal.7 new member were also inducted on this day. There were altogether 80 rotaractor & non rotaractor present in this program.
